If you want to see quick results, Hoya Coriacea is for you! This hoya variety is a very fast grower featuring beautiful thin glossy leaves.
Hoya Coriacea gets big, yellow, fuzzy, star-shaped flowers. The corolla is yellow and the corona is white with a purple center. The flowers are fragrant and the smell is a mix of citrus and spice. What's not to like?
Hoya Coriacea Plant care
Hoya Coriacea is a great climber, but can also be grown in a hanging pot.
Light: The Coriacea grows best in a well-lit position indoors with plenty of bright and indirect sunlight. If it is placed in a spot that is too shady it will experience slower rates of growth.
Soil: Ideally an airy, lightweight and chunky potting mix. Tired of mixing your own? Try our tried and tested Aroid & Hoya Potting Mix!
Watering: This plant prefers to mostly dry out in between waterings. Like most Hoya varieties, they appreciate higher levels of humidity.
Climate: The Coriacea withstands regular household temperatures but doesn't respond well to abnormally low indoor temperatures.
Feeding: Use a balanced fertiliser such as GT Foliage Focus or GT Complete Focus 1-2 times a month throughout the growing season in Spring and Summer.
