The Philodendron Royal Queen is a very popular and unique addition to your houseplant collection. This stunning plant is known for its unusual and striking dark foliage with long heart shaped leaves and deep burgundy undersides. Its leaves start off burgundy, then turn black and finally fade to a deep dark green with a metallic maroon colour on the underside of its leaves.
This plant is also an excellent air purifier, which is yet another reason it is one of the most popular Philodendrons. The Royal Queen Philodendron is a climbing type of plant that will love growing up a support pole.
Plant care
Philodendron Royal Queen thrives best in bright indirect light, increased humidity and moderate to warm temperatures, ideally above 18 degrees. Moreover, an airy well-draining potting mix is important. It helps in keeping the soil moist without making it soggy.
